About AOG Foods

AOG Foods is a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of cocoa-based products, distributed nationally and internationally, committed to maintaining food safety through the development and implementation of the SGIA code, following continuous improvement through the actions of our staff. Our workers are committed and trained, comply with legal requirements, and mutually agreed with customers through the identification, evaluation, risk control, opportunities, planning of objectives, goals and food safety programs. In this context, AOG Foods is committed to guaranteeing food safety by adopting the following principles:

 

  1. Determine and control compliance with the SGIA code’s objectives and the responsibilities corresponding to each instance, guaranteeing periodic reviews.
  2. Assign the human, technical and financial resources necessary to develop, implement and maintain the SGIA code.
  3. Manifest internally and externally the management system’s regulations to all parties involved within the business.

Manufacture and commercialize our premium products extracted from conventional and organic Ecuadorian cocoa fields in the national and international market, with added values: healthy and innovative strategies that generate long-term benefits for those involved and distribution of the Ecuador brand in the world.

Our new facility, AOG Foods, handles the entire chocolate bar bean manufacturing process. Characteristics of the facility: All the latest generation equipment. Certifications: – Organic certification for Canada, the United States and the European Union. – Good manufacturing practices. – In the process of obtaining FSSC 22000, which is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The facility was designed and built specifically for the production of chocolate. We follow rigorous standards of quality assurance, traceability, continuous improvement and sanitation—large production capacities. We have a stable relationship with several cacao associations in Ecuador. Complete laboratory for analysis and also for product development. All of our chocolates are processed from grain to bar. We speak English, French and Spanish. Our staff has the experience, knowledge and passion for making the best chocolate.

  1. Maintain, develop and continually improve the SGIA FSSC 22000 v5.
  2. Develop and execute a training and education plan to prevent hazards and risks related to the SGIA code.
  3. Promote the communication and active participation of the interested parties in the maintenance and updating of the FSMS.
  4. Maintain and reinforce the zero-complaints-policy related to the SGIA code.
